2005

Foundation

In this year the foundation was laid for what you know today as BMU with all its facets, skills and expertise. Behind the foundation – at first as a sole proprietorship – there was more than just the pure idea of opening a business from the very beginning. It was driven much more by the idealism and pride of being part of the Berlin subculture and making a long-term contribution to the preservation and development of Berlin’s club and event culture in the form of affordable technical support. At that time certainly ambitious but still successful today!

2010

B-Music establishes itself as a brand

When passion becomes more and more a vocation, then it is time to take the next steps. Within the framework of concrete PR measures, the then new image of BMU and the first representative office with its own corporate identity is created. The constantly growing demands result in an equally constantly growing stock of materials and vehicles. We are looking forward to further employees who will strengthen our young team.

2011

Expansion

Progress meant change for BMU. More complex projects demanded a significant increase in efficiency. An optimization of the company-specific infrastructure became unavoidable. The logical consequence was to move to new and larger premises. Our new „home“ became the Schuckerthöfe at Treptower Park, Berlin.

2012

Event planning? No problem...

A new star is born – The B-EVENT department sees the light of day. From now on BMU is not only known as a professional technical service provider, but also as a creative agency for individual event and marketing concepts.

2013

Optimization through Development

A constantly growing demand entails an equally steadily increasing need for personnel and vehicles. We take on the challenges of procurement and coordination and develop the personnel and fleet software LUPAX, which is already established among event service providers.

The event department becomes an independent company and develops as a successful business branch.

2014

The best way to predict the future is to shape it yourself!

With the aim of not only being part of the industry, but also to significantly shape it, we become a training company for event technology specialists, event managers and office administrators. At the same time, we join the VPLT (Verband für Medien- und Veranstaltungstechnik e.V.) as an active member.

2015

Expansion of Expertise

We are expanding our service portfolio to include the areas of permanent installation (conceptual / operational) of sound, light and video technology as well as the repair of event technology in the form of our own workshop. In this context we enter into firm partnerships with well-known manufacturers and suppliers with the aim of always being able to work out the best solution for the customer and his project.

2016

Think Big

We are exchanging 1200m² office and storage space for 2.500m² free space for development. From now on we call Niederschöneweide our „home“. Here we find all the prerequisites to store our constantly growing equipment stock and accordingly to be able to carry out ever larger and more complex productions. Lupax is ready for the market and begins to change the industry. As a new member of Berlin Partner, we are actively shaping the economic development of the Berlin location.

2018

What belongs together comes together!

BMU and B-Event now form a unity not only in practice but also on paper. We are now also making our USP even clearer in our external presentation – as the only company operating nationally in this specific constellation, we are now once again uniting concept and operative implementation, including the material, under one roof. The range of possibilities as well as the saving of valuable time for our customers is thus increased immensely.

2020

It will be exciting!

This year is under the star of continuous development.
