GQ is one of the best known magazines and sells more than 80,000 copies worldwide. In order to win the readership for the magazine again in Germany, uniform advertising spaces were set up at highly frequented locations throughout Germany.
In the Mall of Berlin (LP12) an advertising space with four pages was to be created. Here we, BMU, built a substructure with a truss on which the custom-made banners and LED screens were mounted.
The 6.5m x 4m LED screen was used for three weeks as an advertising object in the Mall of Berlin. The aim of this promotion was a lottery. Passers-by could be photographed with a professional camera and the winner was integrated as a moving image on the LED screen in the GQ cover at the end of the promotion.
