For two days, the Indonesian Embassy presented itself on the Piazza in the Mall of Berlin. The fourth largest country in the world wants to show shoppers the best sides of its 17,508 islands.
In addition to many speeches and direct talks with people from Indonesia, there was a very diversified supporting programme. Art from all areas was shown, including traditional Indonesian music and dances.
Visitors could also marvel at Indonesian handicrafts and classical culinary delicacies were offered to the palate.
For this event, BMU had to find a perfect combination of technology and decoration. The showpiece here is a symbolized tree that swallows the bridge of the piazza, but at the same time represents a connection. The other areas also had to form a perfect symbiosis, one should see as little of the technology as possible and the green diversity of the country should be emphasized.
