The Leo Baeck Award has now been held annually since 1957 and honors people for their particularly outstanding services to the Jewish community in Germany.

In the past, the Leo Baeck Award has been presented to such personalities as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, German President Richard von Weizsäcker, Roman Herzog and many others. In 2018, the almost futuristic Axica Congress and Conference Centre was chosen for this celebration.

Here, BMU had the task of designing a suitable press wall with an integrated projection screen in addition to many other event components. The integration of a medial and appropriate lighting concept was also part of our assignment.

We also designed suitable ideas for the entire sound area, stage and set construction and implemented them on site in consideration of the concept. The planning and support was also staffed by our specialist personnel in the individual trades, so that we were able to offer complete quality in all areas during the event.
